This configuration allows players to achieve the more traditional electric guitar sounds from an instrument that feels fresh and modern.
With its traditional jazz guitar shape, and bolt-on Hard Maple neck, the Larry Carlton J3 has the reconstructed, edgy look of an S-type guitar. Although in this case, the single-coil pickups that are synonymous with the clean, dynamic sound of traditional S-type guitars have been switched out for humbuckers, which really bring the noise.
Thanks to Sire’s Edgeless™ neck design, the rolled, smoothened edges enable your hand to glide effortlessly up and down the fretboard with assured precision. The standard diecast tuning gears also provide plenty of stability to help you stay on song.
