This is all thanks to the range of SuperNATURAL pianos/electric pianos which are fresh out of the development oven. They’re complimented by a series of electronic and acoustic sounds that hark back to Roland’s storied past. These utilise the ZEN-Core synthesis architecture that characterised the brands classic synths. This depth and breadth of contrasting sound makes the RD-88 incredibly versatile.

Streamlined Layout

An extremely simple user interface makes this piano a breeze to play and explore. Each of the integrated controls are within easy reach and are clearly marked out. As a result, searching for your preferred effects and sounds is incredibly straightforward.

Soft Synths

Each of the RD-88’s three configurable zones can have either internal sounds assigned to them, or control and integrate soft synths via Apple MainStage. This leads to an excellent sonic mixture of onboard sounds and third-party samples and synthesizers.
