Description

The iconic Gibson Les Paul Standard, a timeless classic that speaks for itself having been one the leading and most popular guitars in the music industry. The Gibson Les Paul Standard ‘50s Figured Top is a harkens back to the classic design and look that graced the stage 70 years ago. Featuring a solid Mahogany body, with a Maple top solid Pelham Blue Nitrocellulose finish, and PAF-style Pickups. This Les Paul utilises all the authentic era specifications that made you fall in love with this guitar in the first place. The Mahogany “50s Style” neck has a chunkier feel, compared to the slim taper of later Les Paul designs, giving you comfortable thumb support moving around the neck. The Burstbucker Humbuckers on the ‘50s standard have a warmer output featuring Alnico II magnets producing that classic PAF-style sound. Rich and warm in tone, these pickups give you a beefy low-end and clear mid-range, whilst being able to handle clarity in overdriven gain when turned up to the max.
