Description

What we have here is one of a kind ... 1st owner since 1976 ! It has been played for the last 48 years but with a very soft touch. Owned by a pro-guitarplayer who took it to every gig with a "Big-Band", but is now retired and wants to sell it. Together with our luthier, we came to the conclusion that this one is 100% original, not even a screw or tuner has ever been replaced. No re-fret, no re-finish, just plain original. The owner confirmed that and told us he took better care of this guitar than of his children. Also the frets are still 100% (!!). How this is possible ? Well a very soft touch, and taking good care of it. It has of course wear, and of course the lacquer is a bit dull, but hey, isn't that history ? But there is also a backside of the guitar : the original case is lost along the way, and there is no paperwork on the guitar. Is that important ? It might for some, but this thing should be played as if it was your last day on this planet. It rocks, but it is smooth... either if you play Jazz, Blues of even metal ... if you like Custom Les Pauls ... this is your thing. It's not for the faint of heart .. like in that era its on the heavier side of the balance : 5,1 kg. But hey, most people play sitting down, so the weight is less of an obstruction. Since it has no case, we will ship it in a generic case and decently packed so it can survive a trip to anywhere in the world. We ship with UPS - even if you live very remote, it can be yours within the week.
