Crafted by hand with painstaking detail at the world-famous ESP Custom Shop in Japan, the new ESP KH Ouija™ is being offered with two new finishes: Purple Sparkle and Red Sparkle, limited to just 30 pieces of each finish worldwide. The two new Ouija™ finishes are based on Kirk’s personal one-of-a-kind custom guitars used on recent Metallica tours. It offers neck-thru-body construction, with a three-piece extra-thin U-shaped maple neck (with a natural gloss back of neck for playing speed and comfort). Its ebony fingerboard features 24 extra-jumbo Jescar frets (with a scalloped fingerboard for frets #17-24), and mother of pearl star and moon inlays perfect for the occult-oriented theme of this amazing guitar. Components include a Floyd Rose Original bridge, Gotoh locking tuners, and a set of EMG KH Bone Breaker pickups. Owners of the ESP KH Sparkle Ouija™ will receive a special Ouija™ case, a Certificate of Authenticity signed by Kirk Hammett, one 8x10 photo of KH with his Sparkle Ouija, and the factory build sheet from the ESP Custom Shop.

SCALLOPED FINGERBOARD

At the highest registers (frets #17-24), the ESP KH Sparkle Ouija’s fingerboard is scalloped, offering the pitch vibrato you can only get with a concave playing surface.

NECK THRU CONSTRUCTION

The KH Ouija offers neck-thru-body construction using a three-piece maple neck with a natural gloss finish on the back of the neck.

Kirk Hammett’s acclaimed signature EMG pickups offer smooth rounded rhythm tones and crisp crushing leads, and are presented here with the highest level of detail, showing the Ouija graphics that overlay the pickup covers.
