Equipped with 23 AIRD amplifiers and over 150 effects derived from Boss' flagship GT-1000 processor — the GX-100 is an all-in-one, floor-based workstation that effortlessly delivers top-level performance anywhere you play. With an incredibly sleek and modern chassis design, the GX-100 also boasts an intuitive colour touch display that allows you to craft inspiring sounds in just a matter of seconds. Up to 15 simultaneous effect blocks provide unlimited tonal possibilities, coupled with deep real-time command via onboard footswitches, an expression pedal, and external control support. Key Features Powerful, easy-to-use amp/effects processor for guitar and bass. 24-bit AD/DA, 32-bit floating-point processing, and 48 kHz sampling rate. Authentic tube amplifier tone and touch response with AIRD technology. 23 amplifier types and over 150 Boss effects. Ultra-flexible amp/effect routing with 15 assignable blocks. Wide selection of onboard speaker types and support for loading WAV speaker IRs. Streamlined modern design with intuitive colour touch display and rugged metal chassis. Unlimited effects control with freely assignable onboard footswitches and expression pedal with toe switch. Connect up to two footswitches or an expression pedal for expanded control. Send/return loop for external pedals or four-cable method. Control jack for remote channel switching on your amplifier. MIDI I/O jacks and multi-channel computer recording via USB. Edit sounds from your computer with Boss Tone Studio for macOS and Windows. Optional Boss BT-DUAL Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor allows you to edit sounds and stream audio from an iOS or Android mobile device. Organic Amp & Cab Sounds Some digital amp modellers can so closely emulate the sounds of real tube amps, that sometimes, we can't even tell the difference! The GX-100 is one such unit, which harnesses "that" superior tone and natural valve amp feel courtesy of Boss' proprietary 'AIRD' technology — backed by their refined 'Tube Logic' approach. Infused into every guitar and bass amp patch within the GX-100, you can expect an authentic playing experience. 'AIRD Output Select' types also let you perfectly tailor the GX-100's sound for any destination, whether it’s an amp input, FRFR monitor, or PA system. A wide selection of onboard speaker cabs are also available, plus slots for importing your own speaker impulse responses via USB! Enhance Your Tones with 150+ Effects! Crammed with over 150 effects from Boss' vast library, the GX-100 put no limits on your creativity and lets you form almost any guitar sound imaginable. There are various overdrives and distortions, plus Boss classics like Slow Gear, Slicer, and more. There’s also a diverse range of modulations, delays and reverbs too — along with many effects specially tuned for bass. And with the send/return jacks, you can integrate your favourite stompboxes or your amp’s effects loop into the GX-100 ecosystem. 100 Presets, 200 User Memories If you're keen to get playing straight away, the Boss GX-100 offers a wealth of sounds with 100 ready-to-rock preset memories. You can easily edit these to taste, or build new ones entirely from scratch. Let your imagination run wild with 15 dedicated block types — including two amp blocks — and chain effects in series and parallel to create all types of sonic variations. And with 200 user memories, you’re able to store enough onboard sounds to cover nearly any song or style! Intuitive Touch Display The Boss GX-100's vibrant colour touch display makes tone creation and at-the-gig editing a total breeze. Control of patch and effects selection, parameter tweaks, signal chain adjustments, and much more are possible with just a few taps. The display is designed to work in harmony with the four knobs and page buttons on the panel too, providing a frustration-free experience that keeps your attention focused on the music. Take Command Eight custom footswitches and an expression pedal (with toe switch) make GX-100 the ultimate controller. The footswitches come configured for patch/bank selection and patch-specific control, but you can freely reassign them to meet your unique demands. Switching into 'Manual' mode provides direct stompbox-like control, and you can go even further with external control via footswitches, an expression pedal, or MIDI. There’s also a jack to remotely switch channels on your amp with memory selection or an assigned footswitch. Not Just for the Stage! The GX-100 is obviously an exceptional tool for the stage, but it excels as a USB audio interface for recording too. You can record directly into music production software, re-amp tracks, and monitor the overall sound through the GX-100’s outputs. The headphones jack lets you practice silently, while the onboard looper is perfect for jamming, developing sounds and ideas, and extending your creative range while performing. Boss Tone Studio Tweak every GX-100 parameter, save sounds, and organise 'Live Sets' for different gigs from your computer — all via Boss' Tone Studio software for macOS and Windows. And with the Boss BT-DUAL Bluetooth Audio MIDI Dual Adaptor (sold separately), you can wirelessly adjust settings from the Boss Tone Studio app on your mobile device and stream backing music from your device’s library.
