You can customise your sound to perfection using the 9-band EQ that consists of the usual bass, middle and treble controls with six sliders in between allowing you to cut and boost certain frequencies with absolute precision. The upgraded Variable Valve Drive delivers more current to the 12AX7 tube giving you everything from the clearest cleans to the fullest possible bass overdrive.
The previous EVO models were popular due to some very good features and Ashdown has kept the best ones on the EVO IV too. The DI output, tuner output, sub output, FX loop and line input for external audio sources have all been retained. You'll also find Ashdown's acclaimed compressor that's operated by a single rotary knob. That's not all, this amp head also features the Sub Harmonics Generator that plays the octave below whatever note you're playing which is about as cool as you can get!
